We are always matching our outside with our inside; we are always creating the external with the internal. In this post I share some experiements I decided to run so I could “test” this idea. I also share the resutls of those experiments and what you can do to start experimenting with your own reality.
Hypothesis: what we feel indeed creates our physical reality.
It was back about 3 years ago.
I was playing NHL 99 on my Xbox with a close friend of mine. He always killed me at this game. He was really good.
We were having a few beers and I was in a slump. I had lost 7 games in a row. He was torching me 7 wins to nill :(
It was at this point that I decided to run a little experiment. I decided that during the first period intermission I would feel what it would be like to win and score lots of goals – just as an experiment; just for fun.
That was it.
I made up my mind that I would go to that imaginary place and feel what it would be like to score those game winners.
So that’s what I did.
The first intermission came and I went to that place for 2-3 minutes. I really felt like I was winning and scoring the game winners. Then I let that feeling go.
We started playing NHL hockey again.
Within 5 minutes of starting the second period I scored a goal. Then I scored another goal and then another.
I was on fire!
My good friend was a little surprsied. This was the first time where I had been this “lucky” and won the game.
So what happened? What was the difference?
The Big Difference
I was feeling my way into winning. I wasn’t trying harder to win. I was feeling it as if I had already won.
Even though it was all in my imagination I just ‘pretended’ I was winning. And to be honest, it wasn’t that hard for me to do that because I had won hockey games before.
That was my first real piece of evidence that physical manifestation is happening on a moment to moment basis.
And it will work for you too!
After that smaller experiment, I started playing bigger experiments. I started to “feel-my-way” into scoring goals in real ice hockey. I figured that if it worked for a game console, then it should work just as well for ice-hockey too!
So I gave it a shot.
I had one experience where I was sitting in the penalty box during a hockey game. We were losing the game and our team needed a goal real badly.
As I was sitting in the penalty box I just closed my eyes and started to relax. I went to that place where I felt like I had just scored the game winner… that sent a tingle down my spine as I felt the excitement.
I opened my eyes ready to play.
As soon as I got out of the penalty box, I had a break away and scored a goal for the team.
I had scored by intending it.
How cool is that?
Now that made me even more curious. I wonder if this would work with money too?
So with that curiosity, I took those little experiments and turned them into bigger experiments. First it was hockey games. Then it was real ice-hockey games. Then attracting money!
Each and every time I played the game I raised the bar. I kept taking it a step further to see how far I could take it.
And each time I created the intended result, I started to believe I could create something bigger and better.
It started to become a belief.
Feel Your Way Into Your Reality
The bottom line is that what we feel indeed creates our physical reality.
Maybe you get it here and there – a ‘flash’ of insight. You see the great connection between the inner and outer worlds; the fact that you are the creator of your life.
And the more often you make this connection, the easier it is for you to believe.
My purpose is this – to remind you that you are the co-creator. You are the wizard. You are the magician. You are the painter. You are the Picasso of your life. It’s all you.

August 27, 2011Dear Steve,
It’s a remarkable article that you have written.Very thought provoking indeed. I just need an insight from you . You said that it wasn’t that hard for you to imagine winning a hockey game because you had won hockey games before.
Now suppose you had never won a hockey game before or maybe say you want to top the Semester in class, which you haven’t done previously(hypothetically speaking) , how difficult is it then to get into the feeling place of having already achieved it.
Many Thanks,
Sheldon

August 27, 2011…hey Sheldon… I’m sure there are times went you felt “on top” of the world. Use that as a starting point towards a better feeling-thought…
…you gotta remember it’s the feeling you’re looking for, the experience… capture that in your imagination and you’ll connect to the infinite intelligence.

September 2, 2011Hi Steve,
I have been going through your blog for the past one year . Will sincerely appreciate a advice from you .
My MBA 3rd semester result came out yesterday and I failed in the semester. This is inspite of the fact that I had visualized even before a month of the exam in June that I am already an MBA and also felt it .
Will you please take a minute of your time to let me know why the Law of Attraction did not work for me , or rather worked in the opposite.
Sincerely,
Raj , Delhi(India)

November 26, 2012Hi, Steve!
I did the steps exactly described in this article. I visualized myself already having that particular downhill longboard I wanted after I outgrew my first downhill board, detached myself from the outcome, then I chatted with my friend on facebook who runs a boardshop up north if he had that particular skateboard. He told me he ran out of that particular model, so I told my friend to surprise me in case he’ll have some boards of the same model shipped in. What happened next was rad. Some time after we chatted online, I received a personal message on facebook from my buddy who told me that he already has my board and reserved it for me. A couple of days later, he shipped it to my location, and my board arrived at my doorstep the next day! Amazing! :)
