Great stuff Steve.
Our subconscious minds are phenomenal manifesters.
When we meditate, we slow dominant brainwave frequencies, producing more alpha and theta waves, less beta. Our brain waves become more coherent, meaning the brain starts working as a whole.
Our subconscious mind activity takes place largely in theta wave activity.
So when we meditate, we are organizing our subconscious minds and we are very suggestible. Very powerful time to drop in a seed for wish fulfillment when the whole brain can start to go to work to recognize opportunities to produce what we want.
Unfortunately, the reverse is true. When we have fearful, anxious thoughts in the “background,” they are working to produce the very things we do not want.
Working with a therapist, coach, shaman, neurotherapist, etc, to learn to let go of the background chatter through trust, love, compassion, or whatever your access point might be, allows a shift in state, a refocus of the subconscious, and a more fulfilling present, and an intentionally curated future.
